This Past Weekend Nov.1-3 2013

First of all I like to thank my son Carlos and daughter Patricia as they continued to do a great job during my absence. #ClarksvilleWinterMarket is in full swing! Don't forget to plan your #FridayMorningGetaways to join us and several local vendors with a lot of great merchandise. The #ClarksvilleWinterMarket is open from 9:00a-1:30p. If you need to place an order feel free.** Just make sure to order by Wednesday Night** We deliver, so if you happen to miss your #FridayMorningGetaway let us know where to drop you Freshly Baked #Empanadas.
Lots of thanks to #AnnMarie'sArtisanBakery for letting us partake in the #OpenHouse. We had a great time with Brandon, Anne Marie, vendors, and patrons alike. Within the next few weeks a variety of #MamiChachisEmpanadas will be available at the Bakery.
Yesterday was fun day enjoying #Empanadas and Chili with #MeanDeanProduce.This coming Sunday will be our last day out at the #OutdoorFleaMarket There won't be much produce, but there will be an array of yard sale items available. Pass by and see us #OutdoorFleaMarket Dover's Crossing across from Rural King.

I have good news and some bad news. The bad news is that I will miss #ClarksvilleDowntownMarket  ...I will be baking by early Monday Morning ready to take orders and the good news is that I will definitely be at the Market on 08/10/2013. If you need any orders for this weekend than this week's last orders will be fulfilled by Wednesday Night. Sorry for the inconvenience and I will see you all soon! This weekend at July 27, 2013 at the #ClarksvilleDowntownMarket #MamiChachi's will be featuring a few new items. I would love everyone to try all of my empanadas, so I decided to make a few different types of packages. These are small tasty treats you can buy and take with you to enjoy along your Market shopping experience.

Try Any 4 Piece Snack Pack available for $3.50:
4 (2oz) Empanadas (Steak, Chicken, Spinach/Cheese, and Pizza) with (2oz) salsa of choice
Or Choose
4 (2oz) Empanadas (Apple/Cinnamon, Pineapple/Coconut, Strawberry Blueberry, and Guava/Cream Cheese) and my new (2oz) sweet dipping sauce. 

I will also be offering a Sampler 8 Pack for $5.50
which includes many of Mami Chachi's Favorites:

Pizza Empanadas!!!

This Saturday through September #MamiChachis will be offering a Pizza Empanada in only in our new Snack and Platter Packages. The Pizza Empanada will include fresh Sauce and Turkey Pepperoni!
Also this weekend at #ClarksvilleDowntownMarket the Tropical Juices will be Mango & Guava.
Come by and visit our booth for some good eats and also visit local vendors who have great produce, arts, and crafts.

The past few weeks I was serving Strawberry Juice & Mango Juice. This Saturday July 13 at #ClarksvilleDowntownMarket  I have new tropical fruit flavors to quench your thirst, I will be serving new Pinapple Juice and Passion Fruit Juice. Good Evening folks-I just finished making Salsa and getting ready for Empanadas to be put in the oven. Tomorrow I'll be at the Clarksville Downtown Market. Rain or Shine I will be on time. This Saturday at Clarksville Downtown Market we will be featuring a revised version of our Sirloin Steak Empanadas.
Mami Chachi's Steak Empanadas will now include Top Sirloin Steak from KLD Farms LLC. 

 



I would like to promote good health and great taste! At the Market there will be limited quantities of Medium Steak Empanadas available @ 2.50 each.

• This will be the last day we feature Regular Top Sirloin Angus Steak from our former distributor at the Clarksville Downtown Market. 
• The Regular Top Sirloin Angus Steak will be available for orders only.  
• If your interested in ordering your goods feel free to contact me so I can guarantee your delivery order.
• I care about my customers and if you have any allergies or dislikes feel free to make a special order w/specifications.

Clarksville Downtown Market 06/22/2013

I was able to beat the heat of the 2nd day of summer and also had a tremendous turnout at the Clarksville Downtown Market. I apologize for the re-location issues. I was able to connect with new vendors and meet friendly new faces. I am not able to attend this coming June 29th Saturday’s Market. My son and daughter will be present at the usual location near the entrance and performance area.

#Clarksville_Downtown_Market Salsa

My son Carlos and daughter Patty suggested I make salsa from the fresh produce at the Market. I took most of the vegetables that I had  bought and created the #Clarksville_Downtown_Market Salsa. I featured it last week and had some great reviews. If you like Salsas come by the market for some free samples. I offer Colombian Aji (Medium and Hot), Peruvian Aji (Medium and Hot) and now my newly delightful salsa #Clarksville_Downtown_Market Salsa (Hot). The Salsas I make are made fresh and have no Preservatives or Added Sodium. They have a shelf life of  about 2 weeks if kept refrigerated one could also choose to freeze their salsas.

If you would like to order any of my Salsas or other goodies please call ahead and place an order. I have a limited supply at the Market. I look forward to seeing you all this coming weekend.

About Mami Chachi

Nancy has been exposed to multicultural cuisine since childhood through a plentiful life of family and travel.  Born in Lima, Peru, Nancy’s mother and grandmother introduced her to not only native dishes but foreign ones as well.  When the family moved to the cosmopolitan capital of the world, New York, her exposure increased. With a rich immigrant population, she learned to love Greek, Italian and other flavors.
Married in 1976, living in Göppingen , Germany in 1981, her growing family motivated her to be creative at meal time.  It was in Germany, at their military base home, that she learned the Deutsche and Spaniard native dishes as well as those from other military families. In 1989 the Chavez family moved to Fort Campbell, Kentucky setting down roots in the United States. Thousands of miles from home in Germany or closer to family in the states, she has and continues to share her creativity and food resume at different gatherings big and small.  Nancy not only cooks but will teach and share her knowledge and tips.

“Mami Chachi’s Empanadas”, Nancy’s new chapter in her relationship with cuisine was birthed after years of positive reception from family, friends and acquaintances.  Chachi-(pronounced: Cha-Chee) is an affectionate family nickname from Peru when as a young girl, she named herself Chachi . Her family and close friends continue to call her so. Nancy and Carlos currently reside in Clarksville,Tennessee and enjoy the company of their five children and seven grandchildren who visit often.
